Halloween Potluck a Hit
The first Hospitality event of the 2019-2020 season brought out
ghouls, goblins and goodies. Neighbors outdid themselves with
creative Halloween costumes and tasty delights. Many thanks to
the Hospitality crew.
Who Are You?
You won't have to introduce yourself at the next
Hospitality event if you have an EE name badge. To order
one ($6), call Melodye Cooke
at 520-336-8844.
Attention EE Gardeners
The gardeners will meet at the Ramada on
Wednesday, November 6, at 1:00 to make plans
for winter projects around the EE common areas. New
members are always welcome. Call Jim Copeland at
952-250-5399 with any questions.
Wednesday Night Movie
This week's movie on Wednesday at 7:00
at the Ramada is Bullitt starring Steve
McQueen. An all guts, no glory San Francisco cop
becomes determined to find the underworld kingpin
that killed the witness in his protection. Thanks
to Jane and Eric Ellingson for
sponsoring this event.

Interested in selling your
creations? Reserve a space at the Ramada by calling
Robin Lockwood at 612-618-5582. A $5.00 table
fee will be collected from each vendor on the day of the
event to help cover the cost of advertising. Vendors must
be EE homeowners or residents.
New Architectural Control Team
The Board has appointed Kay Bonham and
Vera Gates to the Architectural Control
Committee. Joe McCalpin has volunteered
to help out during the summer. They have been studying
the applicable CC&Rs, rules and regulations and are
ready to assist you in ensuring that any changes you
want to make to the exterior of your house are in
compliance. Be sure to contact them
before
you start your project to avoid any problems. Remember
that you also need their approval before you do any
exterior painting, and if you put your house up for
sale, they will need to do a pre-sale inspection to
ensure your house is in compliance.
Book Discussion Group
The group will meet on Tuesday, November 12, at
1:00 at the Ramada to discuss Unliving the
Dream by Sandra Vischer. New members are always
welcome.
Thanks, Charlie
Kudos to Charlie Bonham who takes care
of our Ramada propane heaters every year by keeping the
tanks full and repairing and tuning up the equipment.
Think of him when you are enjoying the warmth of our
heaters at a chilly event at the Ramada.
Have Space in Your Garage?
The Enhancement Team is seeking a garage to use to store
large items for the Ramada Sale in March. They also need
volunteers with pickup trucks to transport these items
to the storage areas. Don't have extra space? Donating
some of your stuff to the Ramada Sale is a good way to
get rid of it and help out EE. A "win-win." Contact Jackie
Rautio (602-206-3354) if you can help or want
to donate items.
Nippy Nights
While days are still pleasant, nights are reminding us
that winter will be here soon. It's a good time to cover
your outdoor pipes, dig out the frost cloths and find
your warm gloves.
In Memoriam
We are saddened to report that former long-time resident
Jim Lindberg passed away on October 29. Our condolences
to his family and friends.
